The GHS37 hydroponic system allows you to grow plants from seeds using only water, nutrients and light. No soil is needed; instead, you simply plant your seeds into the special cone baskets and place them into the water tank. Fill the tank with water and the nutrient solution provided, select the light mode that best suits your plants and leave the system to do the rest. As the seeds grow, the roots will grow through into the water and the plants will effectively feed themselves.
Unlike outdoor gardens, with this indoor system, you needn't worry about the weather being too wet or dry. From seedlings to leafy plants, this water culture system will protect your plants and provide them with everything they need to grow 365 days a year. Once they are big enough, you can re-pot your plants into larger pots or containers.
Effective Full Spectrum Lamp
This hydroponic system has an overhead lamp that provides light to the seedlings below. It consists of 42x white bulbs, 21x red bulbs and 7x blue bulbs. The colour of the light wavelengths it produces is similar to natural sunshine which encourages healthy plant growth and development (photosynthesis). Whether you are growing vegetables, fruits or herbs, they will thrive with the help of this lamp.
3 Growth Modes to Choose From
Different plants require different amounts of light, and it is important to find out how much is enough for your plants. You can do this by keeping a check on them to see how receptive they are to the light; if they look dry, limp or discoloured you know they need less light.
The three growth modes to choose from are:
Option 1: 14 hours on/10 hours off
Option 2: 12 hours on/12 hours off
Option 3: 16 hours on / 8 hours off
Fill both bottle A and bottle B with water.
Shake each bottle well.
Measure out 5ml of each solution using the measuring cup provided.
Add both nutrient solutions to the water tank.
Plant your seeds into the cones provided.
Fill up the water tank with water.
Select the growing mode you prefer.
Leave your plants to grow in their pods.
